  BDO International is pleased to announce the appointment of a new BDO Member Firm in India, effective 15 August 2008. BDO Haribhakti Consulting Pvt Ltd (proposed name) is the consulting and management services practice, while the audit practice is Haribhakti & Co. BDO Stoy Hayward, the UK Member Firm of BDO International, will be providing strategic advice and counsel to the new Indian firm and, as such, has made an investment into the business.

  Centre for Marcoeconomic Research of BDO Unicon: Rouble and Dollar Deposits Protect Savings From Inflation
  

  July inflation substantially decelerated to 0.5% or 14.7% year-on-year. Real rouble yields on deposits in Russian Roubles and USD of 15 top banks moved into positive territory during the month registering 0.22% and 0.21%, respectively. Such figures are cited by the Centre for Macroeconomic Research with BDO Unicon.
